Volunteer Optometrist & Divisional Ophthalmic Business Partner, Shweta Anand, shared her thoughts on this incredible experience:

"The beneficiaries were so grateful for the level of care and professionalism shown by our teams, and they were overwhelmed by the immediate improvement we were able to make to their quality of life by providing free eyewear solutions. It is never easy working outside of the comfort of your store and test room, especially with the limited equipment and technology that we are all lucky to have become accustomed to in our stores.

It was just incredible to see how well the team adapted and embraced flexibility to be able to do the best they could for as many beneficiaries as possible in the short time that we had. The sheer number of beneficiaries we were able to provide eye care and eyewear for is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and positive energy of all the volunteers who worked together to make this mission a success."
